Trauma Fundamentals for Higher Educators
Are you a trauma-aware educator? While trauma isn't new, the COVID-19 global pandemic has moved many higher educators to learn more about trauma's impacts. Learners who complete this fully asynchronous workshop will be able to define trauma and identify its impacts on both teaching and learning. Karen will introduce you to her trauma-aware teaching framework. She'll share a scope of practice model for college faculty to help you set healthy boundaries as you begin to more deeply explore trauma's impacts.
This is a fully asynchronous course that learners can complete at their own pace. Learning activities include videos, written content, knowledge checks, and access to carefully curated trauma resources.
